Beyond Steel has been researching a new modular bus chassis utilising our 3D moulding technology.

As part of a roadmap, we have been working with OEMs in India to replace chassis & body parts from steel or aluminium to glass fibre composite. The benefits have been valuable to our customers:

• mass reduction in all cases

• cost reduction in some cases, and near steel-cost for some assemblies

• no requirement for corrosion protection & no corrosion in service
